Birth & Placenta
The meaning of the word “Doula” is “woman who serves” and I intend to do just that through my services. I work for you and not your provider. I am here to support you during your birth at a hospital, birth center or home, however you see fit.
Birth Package -
Initial Consultation
2 prenatal meetings
Provide emotional and physical support through the duration of labor (plus 1-2 hours after delivery)
Offer educational resources
Help with pain management techniques
1 postpartum meeting
Placenta Encapsulation-
Suggested benefits of ingesting your placenta include;
Reintroduction of helpful vitamins, minerals, proteins, and hormones
Reduce the risk and/or severity of postpartum mood disorders
Improve breast milk production
Improve overall postpartum healing
Improve energy levels
Minimize postpartum bleeding
Placenta Packages -
Raw Preparation Package- This method skips the steaming process and only dehydrates the placenta before encapsulation. $350
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Package- This method includes steaming and dehydrating of the placenta prior to encapsulation. $400
Half Raw and Half TCM Package- This method will combine the two processes. $450
Additional Placenta Services -
Steaming Add-Ins- Lemon or Ginger $5
Cord Keepsake- You can spell a word, the initial of baby or create a shape. (Given that there is enough cord leftover). $10
Placenta Print- These are so fun and make for great decor in your baby’s room. Something that they will have forever. $10
Smoothie Cubes- Mom’s have spoken out saying it provides revitalizing energy quickly. $30
Salve- This can be used in many ways for mom and baby. You can soothe cuts, c-section scars, and perineal tears, nipple cream, diaper rash cream. $40
Tincture- Many women have mentioned great benefits including; lowered stress levels, eases returning menstrual cycles and helps regulate emotions. $40
** Placenta packages include me coming to pick the placenta up within a few hours at the birthing location and dropping the products off. **
